At the heart of all of HBOS Group's activities is Bank of Scotland Treasury (Treasury).  Treasury maximises the return on the Group's assets and ensures the Group's businesses have the liquidity to support their activities, as well as meet the requirements of the regulators.

Treasury is responsible for managing the Group's balance sheet and ensuring all HBOS divisions have the finances in place to support their many and varied activities.  We also leverage our treasury expertise to provide customers of the HBOS Group, across the Corporate, Retail and Insurance divisions, with a wide range of risk management services.

To ensure that we capture the full value of our funding and sales operations we have an active trading business across a full range of asset classes.  With exposure to wholesale multi-currency funding, debt capital issuance, asset securitisation and market risk, the Treasury team provides the backdrop for some of the most rewarding and dynamic careers in finance.
