Navigation shortcuts

There is a short menu at the start of every page that allows you to jump directly to the most important parts of the page, including main content and navigation.

(On visual browsers this is invisible if your browser deals correctly with cascading style sheets.)

Text only pages

The textual content of all pages on this website can be rendered as text-only by choosing the 'text only version' link above.

Font sizes

By default, all text is set in a relatively sized font. This means that you can resize the text if you want or need to from within your browser.

Internet Explorer: Select View, then Text Size, and then your preferred size.

Firefox: Select View, then Text Size, and then increase or decrease your font size

Style sheets

This site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual layout.

If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the use of structured markup ensures that the content of each page is still readable and clearly structured.

Accesskeys

This page lists the accesskeys used throughout this website and are intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse or who prefer to use keyboard shortcuts. This web site uses the UK Government accesskeys system.
