Economic indicators by region
The Bank of Scotland Quarterly Leading Economic Indices are designed to deliver an early indication of turning points in the cycles of the Scottish, Welsh and London economies. The statistical series underpinning the indices goes back to 1986 and includes indices such as Business Optimism, New Orders, Housing Starts and Car Registrations.
