Peter Hickman

Peter Hickman joined HBOS plc in November 2004 as Director, Group Finance, where he had responsibility for the Group's finance related functions, including Group Accounting, Planning and Performance and Group Tax. With effect from 10th August, 2007 Peter was appointed Group Risk Director, and became a member of the Executive Committee of HBOS plc.

Before joining HBOS Peter held several senior appointments at Ernst and Young, where he had been a partner for 8 years, handling major banking clients and latterly having responsibility for risk management.

Peter is a non executive director and chairman of the audit committee for Fiberweb plc.  Peter studied engineering at Cambridge before training to be an accountant.
